Baby Annika arrived a little late but she was well worth waiting for. She was born today, December 12th at approximately 9am. I was blessed enough to take photos of her - 5 hours after her arrival. More photos to come ...
Matt and Kristi were married in a beautiful country chapel in Silverton. The story behind their romance is as beautiful as the couple and you could feel their love through all the small details, decorations and family that shared their day with them. I was honored to be a part of it. The reception followed at the grooms parents home in Salem.
Steve and Carie got married June 27, 2009 at a small countryside park. The weather was perfect and the bride and groom were both glowing. Here are a few photos from their day.
It's a dream location. The Oregon Coast. Imagine walking onto the beach to meet your future wife or husband with the sounds of the waves crashing behind you and your family and friends watching you embark on this amazing journey. Months of planning, preparation, anxiety and then ... your day comes. June 6, 2009. You drive to the coast only to see that it is raining. Well, that is what happen to Shari and Rich and I have not seen so much grace and poise during such a stressful time. We made the most of it, we improvised and in the end - they were still married on the beach. Here are a few photos to share.
No they didn't get married but I did take some photos of them for their senior prom this past weekend - I even helped with Kelsey's makeup (another passion of mine!) I was hired to do Jake's senior portraits so I decided to take a few of them going to prom to add to his collection.
We decided to just walk the streets of downtown Salem and get some random shots and areas. While we were out the following day, I got a few extra of Kelsey since her last photo shoot ended short due to nightfall.
I was so blessed to shoot this wedding. To see a love like Lanelle and Jason's and be able to capture it all on film was amazing. You can really feel the love and intimacy in some of these photos. Here are a few of them:
Kelsey's photo shoot was a last minute thing. She needed her photos quickly so we made the best of time and hurried off to Deepwood Estates in Salem. It was starting to get dark so there were only about 60 photos total but she was very excited to see the outcome. Here are some of her favorites:
